Directions to Callanway from the North  (Scotland)

From the A75 take the  A701 Dumfries road which meets the A75 at the Dumfries by-pass. Then take the A75 Stranraer road for 9 miles to Cricketford. Turn right at the 30 m.p.h. sign before entering the village and Callanway is 3/4 mile along the lane. 

From the south ( M6)

from the M6 motorway and the A74 take the  A75 Dumfries /Stranraer road.  Keep on this road taking the Dumfries by-pass, keeping to the A75 at each large island.  After the fifth island Crocketford is a further 8 miles on the A75.  Turn right at the 30 m.p.h. sign before entering the village and Callanway is 3/4 miles along the lane.
