The Assessment
Eric Roberts, the Owner of Callanway and Training coordinator and is also the head trainer and oversees all aspects of the training Center's schedules. Eric reminds us that every dog is different and some adjustments to the training schedule are always required in order to get the best result every time for every dog!
Eric usually invites a new dog and the owner to the centre for an assessment which lasts about one hour and is fully refunded when the residential training is booked.
This assessment allows Eric to fully understand the dogs problems and helps in devising a planned schedule for correcting undesirable behavior and enables him to plan to move forward with steady basic obedience training.
Also during this assessment Eric can gain critical insight from the owner of the dog as to what triggers various displays of unwanted behavior and gain a solid understanding into what the owner would like to achieve from the training schedule.
Some owners start with behavior correction and the Basic training course and later rebook a more advanced training regime.
